Join us as we celebrate recent acquisitions and commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Ernst Matthaei Memorial Collection of Early Glass!
The Collection, housed in the Matthaei Room at University House, was established in 1968. It has grown to 260 catalogued entries, mainly of English and Irish glass from the Georgian and Victorian periods. We celebrate the role of University House in building this Collection, marked by the new acquisition of a superb, Georgian blue and white twist glass.
